We are pleased to have the opportunity to invite you to join the Eastern Cardiothoracic Surgical Society (ECTSS). Our mission is to encourage and stimulate investigation and study that will increase the knowledge of our field. We act as a common bond for physicians practicing this specialty. Whether you are interested in opportunities for networking or education, there is a place for you in the ECTSS.
For over 50 years our organization – your organization – has given cardiothoracic surgeons their single most important arena for professional advancement. The Society was founded on the need for surgeons to organize, communicate, further their education and develop collegiality and ultimately friendship in a field where opportunities for this are rare.
As a new member of the ECTSS, you will partner with one of the oldest and largest organizations of cardiothoracic surgeons in the Mid-Atlantic region. What separates ECTSS from other professional organizations is our members' deep commitment to supporting each other while also supporting our mission.
