Objective: Diaphragmatic eventration is defined as an abnormal elevation of a hemi-diaphragm. Surgical treatment is typically reserved for patients with ongoing symptoms. Diaphragmatic plication is typically performed from the chest. However, due to space constraints, this approach may require lung isolation which is physiologically more demanding on patients. Therefore, we report a laparoscopic approach to left diaphragmatic plication.
