OBJECTIVE:
This video represents a video case series that shows minimally invasive techniques for repair of intrathoracic vascular injuries
METHODS:
We identified 4 cases which had intrathoracic vascular injuries during VATS lobectomies and were managed via minimally invasive means.
RESULTS:
The 4 cases where these techniques were employed showed good outcomes for the patientís involved and are useful for thoracic surgeons to have in their armamentarium when approaching these complex challenges
CONCLUSIONS:
Minimally invasive repair of intrathoracic injuries can be employed safely in select patient populations and distribution of techniques is integral in advancing the education of the thoracic surgeons across the discipline.
